This good looking actor has been chosen as The Hottest new face of 2010 (male) by a poll conducted by Times of India. Some 3.43 lakh Indians voted in this poll and chose Ali Zafar as the Hottest New male of 2010. Ranvir Singh of Band Baaja Baaraat, stood second in this public poll.

Despite earning fame and respect in Bollywood the actor is also gearing up for a noble cause. Ali Zafar apparently plans to teach music to the less privileged kids for which he is already in talks with an NGO.
A source close to the star says,
“Ali was contemplating quite a few options but finally decided on sharing his knowledge on music with the lesser privileged. He finalised on this simply because music is something that comes most naturally to him and he considers it to be the purest thing he can impart at the moment. He wants to put his talent to a good use and looks like he’s found the right way.”
